Site Critique Please? - 9/3/2003 14:22:29
I've just uploaded our company's new website and would like some input. Particularly, does it work well in your browser, does it load fast, is it easy to navigate, does it give you an idea about our company? It's still in the early stages, there's more we'd like to have, just a matter of my learning how to add it!

Thanks for all input, good, bad or ugly!

Welcome to Outfront LPelt,

I'm sorry but it would appear that you really don't want us to see the site.:):)

What I can read looks Ok - BUT, I can't read any of the links and very little of the text. Dark Blue text on a Dark Blue background isn't readable...

Gil -

Are you referring to the links, the page text, or both? It shows up fine on our machines and browsers, but if it can't be read by "the world out there", it doesn't really help us much! Thanks for taking the time to help me out!

I looked at your site quickly in both IE 6 and Mozilla, two different machines with two different vid cards - same monitor. I think the page text is ok but I have to agree with Gil when it comes to the navigation links. I can read the text but I have to squint a bit. You may want to lighten the button up a little or change the text color. As to the rest of the site, it looks pretty good. Easy to navigate around clean and to the point. You might want to do a little work on the images, easpecially in the header. They're kind of blurry and I have trouble figuring out what they are. On the whole though you have a good start.

Sorry I took so long to get back, had to get fitted for a Tux.:)

Hi Laura.

I like the site. Clean, intuitive and site appropriate for the business and clientele. I would agree that the nav's text needs to be lightened. I struggled to see the words.

Second, and maybe others can chime in, there is no "home" nav. I am aware that clicking on the mast logo/images would get me home, but doesn't it work best to include "home?" Just seems more intuitive to me.

Nice job and best of luck with a good site, Dave
