A better BUY page - 9/3/2003 18:12:13
Hi Guys,

www.CalabreseRock.com

Can you take a look around my website and point out anything that can be improved? I am really concerned with the BUY/PRESS page. I'm not happy with the layout and would love some suggestions on how to make it "lean and mean".

thanks!

Hi Jim, I think it's a great site and should be really appealing to your target audience :) Can see what your mean about the 'Buy' page - it took me a bit of work to find what was for sale. Do you think moving the text about the items for sale to the very top, just under the header would work? Then in the table under that putting the info on the items side by side? Played around with it, screenshot attached. Also split the cell with the T-shirt info into two rows, and in the lower row placed the text about also buying from Interpunk and the view cart button (sorry, could not get the entire page in the screenshot but you get the idea).

I've really no idea about selling things on the web, but do like purchasing :) I'm sure other people here can give you some great advice about your 'buy' page.

Jim, just had another look at the site, and am thinking that perhaps 'buy' and 'press' deserve a page each, rather than being together. Might be easier to manage content. Press could be named 'Press & Reviews' or something .. and on the buy page Midnight Spookshow could be linked to it.

Anyway, have fun :)

Great Jim - much clearer, staight to the products - really like it! :)

Small detail, seem to have lost the 'view cart' button somwhere :)
