We have spent a great deal of time developing this website, I would appreciate the "experts" opinion on it. Thanks :-)

Hi Aninka!

The home page looks very nice, but the flames seem totally out of place. I don't see tha they relate to anything visiually or thematically. On top of that, they are wayyyy slowwww and draining my RAM.

You need to look at your site in Netscape. The layout is all over the place. FP's absolute positioning is not cross browser compatible. You need to use tables for your positioning.

Sorry about the bad news.

Sandy

the changing flame at the top is a bit cheesy and seem like an unnesessary addition which doesnt add to the site and isnt relevant to its content.

it also looks a little cramped on 800x600 resolution, with some informtion disappearing off to the right meaning that some users will have to scroll back and forth.

the document transition effects dont look good either and some pages had the top title and left navigation missing.

otherwise, loads of content (which is the main thing really) and great potential

its also a good idea to have the home button in top left as this is the standard for more or less every website
