Just a class asignment. I think I'm either too bored or too dedicated, considering I made all the graphics (like that took long). Anywho, what do you all think?

I think it has a very unique look. That part I like. It does seem a little busy which is a little distracting, but all in all it is very good. Your rates are very resonable. I would think with prices like that you should find a lot of work, which of course will let you be able to raise your prices.
One very slight error. You mention that you have experience with Photoshop 8 & 9. You are light years ahead of everyone else since the latest release is Photoshop 6. That is an easy mistake to make.
You need to do your keyword and description meta tags when you get a chance.

LMAO!!! Thanks turboguy for catching that I have a little too recent Photoshop version. I don't use it anymore because I can only access it at school in the Mac lab, which is always occupado. I always get Illustrator and Photoshop versions mixed up. What made it "busy", is it the background? I agree it's busy...maybe I should lightening it some more. Once again I forgot my meta tags, my professors don't check for them, so I never put them in. Took me about 2 years to finally put them on my personal site.

Thanks for the input.

Hi Brandon.

The background is, indeed, too busy on which to place text. You could put a solid colored table on top of it or go with a solid background.

The button graphics are rough and need to be anti-aliased.

Your home page is in dire need of text. Search engines will be crawling through looking for text pertinant to your subject...and repeats of your keywords.

Since you are short on content for your Examples page, perhaps screen shots of your previous sites would be appropriate.

On the Abilities page, examples of your work would speak louder than the printed word...though the text is vital.

How about a form for the Contact page?

Over all, you are really needing content, content, content.

Don't forget alternate text for your Mystic Night graphic.

Good luck with it. Are you going to post your grade?

Don't forget to check out www.catalog.com - $35/yr for a domain and you get free web hosting. No strings, just not as much room and bandwidth as most paid-for host packages.

Thanks for the input. I'll have the grade up as soon as I get it I made a few changes, but can't get the button graphics to look any better. I'm using PhotoDraw 2000, any suggestions?

Maybe use a different font. You don't really want more than a couple different fonts on your site anyway.

I finally got my grade....a 95.

Got points off for minor things like the page heading above the HR instead of below, not having a logo, she liked my rollovers, said the $20 a site wasn't enough of a charge, loved the background.

I'm not complaining though. Have an A average in the class.
