Cant find answer to old question

I have contacted my isp and made it clear to him I needed the file both read and write but I keep getting the same error. I can read but can't write. Database cannot be written Verify that the \fpdb\ folder has both read and write access What do I do?

Unless your host provides a control panel where you can change permissions yourself, they will have to fix the permissions for you.
