WinePress.US -> Swish / Flash Editing (9/8/2003 10:10:18)

I was wanting to edit a Swish intro, and all I wanted to change was the text verbage. I did so, saved the file again, and reposted the site.

The change never took place on the site, even after I closed that browser and opened a new one.

thanks
joel

Hi Joel

Sometimes it is useful to change the name of the file as well. So you know for sure it is grabbing the new file.

garry is right, I've had to do that with Swish files in the past...

Don't forget to change the name of the movie in html on the page too, or it wont find the right file...

Erin is also right..........she really did make a silly mistake [:(]

bobby -> RE: Swish / Flash Editing (9/11/2003 14:18:53)

As have many of us... or we wouldn't know to warn others [;)]

Did you get it working?

garry -> RE: Swish / Flash Editing (9/11/2003 17:39:49)

Garry made this silly mistake even more times than Erin [:(] and twice as much as Bobby [:'(] , but Joel will only do it once [;)] and know the answer next time.

Next time Garry will probably still scratch his head for 10 minutes and try to reinsert 4 times before realising. (But it will be less than the 8 times he last tried to rectify it)
