This is a redesign of an existing site - www.eckilkenny.ie
Nothing works - no links, cos there are no other pages yet.

One thing that worries me a little is the logo - the sketch one. They want it included since it is on all their notepaper etc but I cannot seem to work it in satisfactorily, it looks like a bit of an afterthought at the moment.

For your interest here is the old site: http://www.iol.ie/~kec/

Very nice layout and colors!

How about putting the sketch up in the blue above the address? For balance you might need to then put the photo on the right side of the body? I guess you'd have to see how it looks.

Under the e-mail, the black corner on the right could stand some work.

I'm getting my default font.

Good job, young lady.

I think it looks lopsided. The blue on the right needs to extend the rest of the way. Kinda make it look like it's in frames. The colors are wonderful though.

Sorry, I can't resist, but "OMG, THEY KILLED KENNY!!!! THOSE BASTARDS!!"

That's the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the name, sheesh I need to get out more.

Hi, Katherine -

I think you've hit on it. It looks great, and I can't see where else you could put that logo. I took a look at it above the address, as that was my first thought also - it doesn't seem to go there.

Have you thought about adding a javascript to change that picture on the home page each time it's loaded?

Hi Katherine,

I think it looks great - good use of colours and smart layout - the logo looks fine where it is although the sciolnet button below looks a bit tacky in comparison.

Cheers
Andy

Like the design! Just an idea. Could the sketch logo be colorized to blue and white hues to match with the blues in your design?

Katherine, I just looked again...the menu won't work over a form field. Something will need to be moved.

Thanks Sandy.

Damn Netscape! Of course it works perfectly in IE.

I don't suppose anyone knows a work around for this?
