Frontpage is changing my code! - 9/9/2003 19:14:15
Anyone have trouble with FrontPage adding little pieces of html code to their sites? I've had this happen to me a couple of times and I can't figure out what's going on.

The first time I noticed it was when I opened a page that I created over a year ago to make some changes. About half the content of the table was outside the table. When I checked the html I found some open table/close table code right in the middle of it, just like this:
<table>
</table>
Of course, I deleted these instructions and saved - it cured my problem, but the problem came back later. I knew what to do this time, but I couldn't figure out how or why this code just showed up.

Now I've got a page on a completely different web site with a </head> command inside the body portion of the code (there's already a </head> command in the proper place above the <body>). When I delete it, it comes back as soon as I save! I can watch it reappear as soon as I hit the save button! I've tried a number of ways to delete the command, but nothing seems to work. I even tried repairing FrontPage to no avail.

This is driving me crazy! Anybody know what's going on???
