Frontpage Server Extensions not working - 9/17/2003 5:46:33
I have had our club website up and running for approximately 2 years now, and it worked fine with the frontpage 2000 extensions. I upgraded my copy of frontpage to the 2002 version because of the extra functionality it promised such as the usage analysis. This worked fine for approximately 1 month or so and then the problems started. the site is www.arklowsc.ie The form pages do not work. The usage analysis, hit counter, link bars, etc, don't work In summary most of all the components don't work. My host provider apparently has installed the latest version of the Front page extensions, but to no avail. They rebuilt a new server location for me from the ground up and I republished the site to www2.arklowsc.ie. But again most of the components do not work. The annoying thing is that the site did work before fully, and now I am left with a partially non-functioning site. I have refused to pay the hosting fee until this problem is resolved, but they appear to be baffled by the problem. Is there a simple answer to these problems? Regards, Cahir Davitt

Hi Cahir, I think Shirley is right, I got the same result from DNSWiz. Although this is not foolproof, there could be a problem with the extensions. One time I got No extensions as a result from them when mine were working fine however. Before going to the trouble of resetting the extensions, first try changing your file results to Formatted text. Republish, and then retest. If this doesn't make a difference, then either you or your host should reset or reinstall the FPSE.
