I'M STUCK ON MY DESIGN - 4/10/2001 16:50:00
I'm using frames in mys ite and i can't decide how do set it up. Links on the side or bottom. Logo on top or anything. I made my website but i need tips and hints on the actual layout. Especially the home page. It's a student film site.

well, i'm not sure what to tell you as far as graphics, etc., but i will tell you that you're using the wrong "there" for your pronoun. when you say "there," that means a place. you want to use "their."

sorry - had an english prof in college that beat the proofreading skills into us.

Hi,

I found the look a lot too dark - maybe a grey/blue for your background would look smarter.

The problem of using a top and bottom frame is that you're reducing the content visible on the screen - the links seem ok at the bottom but I can't see why you'd want to include the top frame.

Cheers
Andy

the links in your bottom frame spill onto two lines when viewed on an 800x600pix screen (I'm afraid there are a frightening proportion of people still at that res)

... and in 'the crew' the corner*.jpg graphics has a different shade of blue to the background blue?

I agree on your site being a bit dark. It is very compressed as well. The Flash entry is OK, however you may want to open your work area a bit and have an optional flash entry.
You have to consider that not all people have broadband.
