Shirley -> RE: www.norvelt.com/heating2.htm (4/10/2001 18:11:00)

Some of your pages have a sideways scroll at 800 x 600.

Your navigation seemed backwards to me. I clicked on furnaces then clicked the link at the bottom about heating it seems to me that the page about heating should be linked from the home page with furnaces linked from that.

One of your links on the left rolls over to red but the rest don't??

Hi,

I'd go along with Shirley - the site looks clean enough but there seem to be a few things to tidy up. The ACCA logo is difficult to make out. I think the use of the red/purple for the titles is a bit much, a more subtle approach might make for better contrast.

Best of luck with it.

Cheers
Andy

The blue flame against the red background in Johnsons was too much for my eyes. I found it a distraction from the rest of the page. I could still see the blue flame after leaving your site! Perhaps it's just me, but I find this the case most of the time when red is used on top of blue or vice versa. Not sure but perhaps a gradient such as used in your background navigation might tone it down a bit?
