I have put togther a simple search engine tutorial, hopefully written in terms everyone can understand.
It is pretty much what I have learned on the way (though not always followed to a "T").
I'd like some folks to read it and make sure I am not too far off base. I tried to keep the color commentary to a minimum. Again, this is a work in progress so don't be too harsh.
