Hi. My website, www.sailmiami.com , needs constructive criticism in order to improve and be more useful to our readers. Please look at my site and tell me what you think.

Hi Bob-

Not sure if thie falls under the "more useful to readers" category or not, but I took one real fast look at the first page and noticed a few things -
*a major sideways scroll at 800X600 (I couldn't figure out why but am suspicious those nested Blockquote tags)
*that yellow block was pretty tough on my eyes
*the links under "Interactive" - the way they go bold on mouseover and make the whole list slide up and down was making me seasick
*it's a topic that could include some real attractive photos to balance the look of the page between text and images.
I just went back and noticed your logo - you might want to make that a little bigger.
Looks like you have good content from what I saw quickly and just making it more appealing would go a long way.

Lupe - sorry, don't know where that "Bob" came from!

Lupe, I'm trying to view your site in Netscape and not having much luck. All I can see are the logo, a description that starts, "The Complete, Interactive guide...", and a big, blinking weather banner.

You need to do your entire layout in tables. FP absolute positioning is not cross browser compatible.

I was also not able to find a closing body tag...</body> or closing html tag...</html> in your source code.

I would recommend rebuilding this page from scratch. After building your tables, you can cut and past the content, then rename the page index.htm.

Sorry I couldn't give you better news.

You need to specify the background color too. I would recomend white.

Looks like a very useful sight.

I think the problem on your home page is that you don't have a closing </body> or </html> tag.
