Question re stylesheets in opera & mozilla - 9/21/2003 10:15:35
With the course that I am taking we are supposed to place an embeded style sheet in the page. I have done this, Looks like I did this correct, however each time I view it in Mozilla and in Opera, things don't look right. I'm at a total loss here, I could use some help, but not the answers. Just what am I missing or not seeing. Is it the way that I inserted the embeded style sheet? Do I have my styles written wrong? etc... http://hwcssvu.tripod.com/exercise1unit2a.htm http://hwcssvu.tripod.com/exercise2unit2a.htm Thanks in advance.

Gorilla hint: Develop and test using opera 7 and mozilla which are standards compliant. Then check and tweak for internet explorer which isn't. Also go to the tips forum http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/m_140143/tm.htm http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/m_140145/tm.htm Karsten stronlgy recommended those two plugins. I highly recomend these two items that Karsten placed links to. I have them on my computer now, and last night they helped immensly with working through the css to get it to where it worked on Mozilla and on opera. Also, they are great to help aid in the learning process. I now have pages that are css validated!

Not bad for somebody who was "afraid to turn the computer on" two years ago - as somebody we both knew said - "you go girl." F
