Redesign of site - would love feedback - 9/23/2003 10:45:15
I've been redesigning my digital camera/photography site and would appreciate your comments. There is still A LOT of work to be done, particularly revising the copy. I'd like issues such as design and navigation addressed primarily though any and all feedback is welcome.

thanks, gail

Looks great _gail and the nav is simple enough even for me to get around.:) It looks like it's going to be an excellent source of information so I've got it bookmarked already. Very nice. :):):)

Gail,

As usual...wonderful site. Well done. Beautiful photos and great examples of photo manipulation in PhotoShop.

It's a very clean and beautiful site. The information is well thought out. Navigation is very intuitive.

I love it. The best of luck to you with this endeaver!:)

That is my immediate and lasting impression. If a friend said, "point me to a site that has it all together. I need ideas and a mental template for what quality can look like - -"

I would steer her/him right in your direction.

So that is where that baby pic came from! Knew I had seen it before.

I have never care for my own masthead. I have changed it 20 times, without exaggeration. I recently bought photoshop elements. You have given me ideas to play with. Thanks, Dave Borton

Not sure how I missed this. I really try to keep an eye on things you post. :) Must have been the tornado after the hurricane.

Have to agree with sentiments. It is pretty.

You have also presented some good information in a great format. I know many people will love the information on buying a camera.

A great job. (as usual)

Erin

Gail, looks GREAT...but I noticed something amiss on this page:

http://www.digicamhelp.com/about/index.htm

There is some code showing up in your header. I used IE 6.

Thanks Peppergal.

That code was actually a Google ad, which I inserted as an include. It does that sometimes without me realizing it and I don't know why. I have to delete and reinsert it.

Good catch. Thanks again.

Hi Gail,

Now I am curious. Why do you link to the google ads?

Thanks, Dave

Because each time someone clicks on an ad, I get paid a small amount of $ for each click. It costs nothing to join, but you do have to be accepted by them.

There are some threads about Google at Outfront in the Bus/SEO section. Also read more about it here:
