hey guys im new here but would love some help. I just opened a site that i can say im proud of but its still not at its best.

Good start. Try to get your picture to show up in the browser window (without having to scroll). Have fun with it.

Hello Adam, The refreshing thing about your site is that it is immediately apparent to me how much you were enjoying this venture.
Couple of quick impressions: On your guest "view" page, the staff/graphics are spilling all over one another.
On the guest book page, look way down in the lower left. You might want to personalize that area.
If you want to use this web as your creative space you are doing that. If you want to develop it so that visitors come in from search engine results, you will probably have to go after one or both of those themes (martial arts/bonsai gardening) more intensely to get hits and return visits.
What to do? Part of my website is set up and optimized to pull in visitors. It is accomplishing that. Another part of the web is my playground and I never expect visitors to stumble into that area. It is my part of the web and I play with my creative side there. Good luck with the site, Dave

A very striking design. You'll need to set the body of your page to white - some browsers like mine have a default background colour that isn't white (when using a theme for example). Good luck with the site.

Do NOT do this unless you also set the link, alink & vlink attributes within you bady tag. The sttributes within the body tag are a "all or none" setting. Actually, the body attributes for presentation really should not be specified at all and those presentation elements handle with a CSS file.
