Site Critique - 9/26/2003 15:15:54
Could I have some input and a site critique. I had a site that I made with Publisher www.mdvoad.com and I am updating it with Frontpage. The new update is www.mdvoad.com/test.

Hi z28bill,

Nav is good and it loads quick but it seems kind of plain. You might want to get a few images in there to spruce things up a bit. For the images you do have you'll want to get some alt text in there. Right click the image > select "Picture Properties" > General . Where it says "Alternative Representations" input a textual description of the image.
Also for the image/links on your "Organizations" page you might want to do a little work on the images. They're very pixelated and I'm sure could be cleaned up a lot.
You've got a start, now you need to finish it off:)

Bill, you are going to kill me. I like the feel, look, and presence on the previous site by a whole bunch. Don't ask me why. Aesthetically I believe it is a stronger presentation. I think it is a cleaner, bolder look.

I just looked at them again. There is clear, visual balance in your original site; that isn't so in the new site. I really like the original. You might strengthen it with a more dramatic masthead, but I like the site.

Sharing feedback, that's all. Good luck with the site, Dave

There is no comparision - the original is hands down the most appealing.

Thank You very much for the input. Looks like I have some work to do. I greatly appreciate all the help from the pros. Believe me, all comments are welcome and I take no offense what-so-ever.

Thanks,
Bill
