Need tips for improvement! - 4/29/2001 20:34:00
I need some design tips for the site I am building. I haven't put to much content on it yet, so don't care about it, just critique my design! What shall I improve? Does it look OK in 800x600? Does it take long time to load? And I do know that one of the commercials are a bit annoying, I will swap it with a bit not so flashy one. So basically, what can I improve, and how? Hi,It's looking smart. I'd get rid of the blue borders around the graphic links on the left and add some text links at the bottom of the page. The text is a tad small and I think the white table would look better if it occupied all the right hand side of the page rather than being cut off. Otherwise it looks great - for a Tottenham site that is, of course Ipswich for the Champions League? Cheers Andy ------------------ Internet Business Solutions S.L. (Spain) Dreamweaver Users Forum

Oh, dear. You need to look at it in Netscape. It's not a pretty site. Sandy ------------------ www.alleghenyweb.com

Thanks for the comments folks. quote: Originally posted by Goober: Oh, dear. You need to look at it in Netscape. It's not a pretty site. Sandy
Except from the "menu", what looks horrible in Netscape? What slows down the page? The background, the logo or what? Andy: What did you mean with "blue borders around the graphic links". What blue borders? Anyways, Ipswich has been playing some great football this season, I admit it, but Champions League!? They won't just lose all their games, they will be hammered in every single one!

You really must look for yourself. The white part is...well...all over the place. The menu and header are fine. Sandy ------------------ www.alleghenyweb.com

Which version of Netscape are you using? I am using Netscape 6.0 and I can't see anything weird with the white part.
