Give me your opinion - 5/1/2001 21:27:00
I have revamped this online baseball league site. I need your input on the site and its workings. The site is on a 95% table. I am told I have horizontal scrolling. I thought the 95% table would adjust to any screen res.www.sportplanet.com/sbb/hootp/testpage.htm Cooley

Check your math - you have the table at 95%, but the cells in the first row add up to 101%, the second row adds up to 91%. I didn't go any further. They (Rows) need to add up to the same as the table...------------------

yep it's a big horizontal scroll on an 800x600, fits pretty well on a 1024x768 screen though. Personally I design into a fixed wide table 700 pixels wide and centre it. That way even the 800x600 people get it and there is never a worry about horizontal scrolls. I got 404 errors from the pages I sellected in the drop down menu - is this because it's under construction (I notice the URL is to a testpage) Other than that it loads pretty quick over a 56k modem. And I like the 'latest news' graphics ![]("http://128.242.235.130/ubb/smile.gif") ------------------

The dropdown menu pages arent uploaded and thats the reason for the 404's. Thanks for the tip on the 700 pixel wide table. Other than that, the content looks and works good? Thanks for any input you can offer.
