Tip - about fixing margins on <body> and <html... - 9/30/2003 14:51:43
Checked my intranet and vpn sites on a variety of browsers. Discovered that some versions of opera add an unwanted margin.

Having my body tag like this:
<snippet>
body {
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
}
</snippet>
Result unhappiness. I'd assumed (yeah yeah I know) that the body tag would handle everything. What's it there for after all .......... Nope.
Result unhappiness.
So I did a search in the gorilla's database and discovered that the solution is this:
<snippet>
body {
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
}
html {
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
}
</snippet>
Result happiness.
Thought I'd share.
