Thank you so very much. I'll get done what I can tonight, but will be winding up soon myself. Thank you ever so much for your help!! I will be very happy to have completed this project. :) I'll let you know how it goes.

Just visited your site at http://www.congogorillaforest.com/ - too cool!! Do you work full for the zoo? Must be a fun place! I work in a zoo too - of course, technically it's a real estate office. :)

Have a great night! Cheers!

Nooooo.
I'm a resident!!! :)

Wouldn't mind that job though.
A lot less pressure than being a software engineer. :)
I guess we all work in our private zoo's right? :)

:) I'm headed off for the night. But I still have problems. :)

When I saved the new file - residreq as an asp file, the form didn't work. So I changed it to an .htm file. The form works!!! :) But..... it's not coming up from the pop-up button.

Here are the links:

search page: www.wesellstlouis.com/test/homes.asp
result page: www.wesellstlouis.com/test/homesfound.asp
form page: www.wesellstlouis.com/test/residreq.htm

I don't know if I explained this correctly or not:

First try:
1. I Put the code you gave me (first part before the <head>, second part where the button is) in the homesfound.asp file.
2. Created the form (from scratch) and saved it as residreq.asp
3. Tested it - form came up just great but it didn't respond to the information - didn't send email or update file or go to a confirmation page.

Second try:
1. Renamed residreq.asp as residreq.htm (and changed links in homesfound.asp accordingly)
2. Tested it - got 'Page Cannot Be Displayed' error
3. Opened up www.wesellstlouis.com/test/residreq.htm using the address bar and filled it out. I got the email!!

No doubt I'm consistently doing something wrong. Maybe by the light of day it will make sense to me. :)

Being an .asp or .htm page that is popping up should not be a problem.
On my sites, my pop-ups pop up an .asp page.

My suggestion would be to put the FULL path in the area where you have to put the page address (javascript and button code) like this:

http://www.wesellstlouis.com/test/residreq.htm

I should have put that in my first post. Sorry.
I tried your page and the pop-up pops up.

When I do this type of work, my first goal is the get the page to pop up in the window correctly (with some test text in it). Once you know that works, then put the form in.

Keep it HTM.

For whatever reason, I couldn't get the frontpage form to work in an asp file and I couldn't get the pop-up to work with an htm file. :(

So I found some asp code (canned) that will send form results via email and that seems to be working. I have the pop-up working and the 'canned' files work fine. Now I have to go in and customize them to suit my needs. But hopefully that will go quickly.

Thanks for all your help. When I get this done, I'll let you know. :)

Hope you're having a great day! Cheers!!!

Hi pmagas,

Your news sounds great.
Getting all the things to work is super news.
Give yourself a GOLD Star.
Let me know how it works out.

I did a google on Cyber Muffins, and clicked "Did you mean cybermuffins" and saw what you meant.
Yikes!!! You were right... :)

Having a great Sunday, (as great as a Sunday can be...)

That cyber muffin looks GREAT.
Think I'll snack on it now.
I love blueberry. Yum... :)

Cheers! :):)

Are you aware of the procedure to send multiple emails using FP 2000 confirmation form?
