SEO and CMSs - 10/6/2003 21:29:51
I just posted areply about the beauty of CMSs in another post, but now I'm thinking about some of the drawbacks. If the client controls all the content and the text of all the page titles and H1 tags and most of the alt tags are dynamically generated, this makes search engine optimization a bit harder to manage. So, what's the best approach for dealing with that? How can I make the most of what isn't under the client's control?

Hi Bri, Must have missed this one, sorry. I routinely get DB generated pages into Google. I even use .asp?id=xxx etc. (although I have come across a server side module that would remove the ?id=XZXX). I use dynamic <title> tags and dynamic META description tags also. Do you have a URL so I could take a peak? Brian
