This is the beginning of a site Im building for a company that builds websites (hmm...)

Any criticism would be helpful before I get too far. Its just the home page now but all others will be driven from this one.

Also, honestly is the logo lame?

Personally, I like it.
Loaded quickly, everything looks as if it will be easy to find. The only think I didn't like was the jagged margin in the main text.

But why does a web design company need someone else to design their own site? Spooky!

I can't wait to see "Our Portfolio". Are you doing their other sites for them also?

My opinion: 1) justify the paragraphs 2) add a blank section to the beginning of the Flash. I have a slow connection and it was a bit annoying seeing the flash play and replay while everything else was still loading; would seem cleaner if it waited a bit and had that pause in between plays.
