ThomasCholipski -> Google and no description (10/7/2003 3:46:45)

I just recently got my new web site published and for the hell of it I checked google and I ranked 13th out of 400 entries. The problem my home page is a Flash movie with the only text on that page was 'enter>' and that is what appeared in the description for my URL 'thesiliconvalleyconnection'. I do have a Title and my Keywords and Metas etc defined. I have in the mean time added some relevant text so if it crawls me again at least it will see something. However I do not want that text to appear on the actual page. Does it hurt to change that text the the same color as my background or does that send a signal that I am trying to spoof it? The following if how I have my Tags set <TITLE>The Silicon Valley Connection Home, Office And Business IT Consulting</TITLE> <meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0"> <meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document"> <meta name="title" content="The Silicon Valley Connection"> <meta name="description" content="Computer Solutions and Support for the Home, Home Office and Small Business in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. Services include Network Design, Web Design, Accounting, Microsoft CRM, Microsoft RMS, Custom Databases and Programming Solutions."> <meta name="abstract" content=""> <meta name="keywords" content="Silicon Valley, Home Office Support, Small Office Support, Home User, High Tech Shopping, News Portal, San Francisco Bay Area, Small Business Accounting, Microsoft CRM, Micrsoft POS, Microsoft RMS, Home Support, Custom Programming, FoxPro, Home Networking, Home Office, Small Office, Home, Web Design, SOHO, Small Business Networking, DSL, Routers, Custom Programming, Custom Databases, Home Support, Office Support, Microsoft POS, Microsoft CRM, Microsoft Retail Management System, ACT!, Goldmine, Business Support"> <meta name="author" content="Thomas J Cholipski"> <meta name="copyright" content="The Silicon Valley Connection"> <meta name="reply-to" content="TheSiliconValleyConnection@hotmail.com"> <meta name="distribution" content="global"> <meta name="date" content="2003-04-11"> <meta http-equiv="expires" content=""> <meta name="revisit-after" content="30 "> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content=";http:\\"> <meta name="language" content="en"> <meta name="robots" content="all, follow"> <meta name="rating" content="general"> and the following is the text I added to my home page Computer Solutions and Support for the Home, Home Office and Small Business in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. Services include Network Design, Web Design, Accounting, Microsoft CRM, Microsoft RMS, Custom Databases and Programming Solutions. Any Comments? Thanks, Tom
