Hi all.

Could anyone point me in the right direction of a good easy to understand beginers guide to making cascading style sheets.

I would like to lern how to make a CSS and how to encorperate this into my designs

Start with the tutorials on outfront. Then go here.

you could also usefully use time going through some of the postings in this forum - you will learn a lot. But do the tutorials I mention above first to get a full benefit.

Thanks gorila most usefull ill go and start lerning now. i know what a CSS is for and what it does as i have a site that was not designed by me that uses them what i realy want to know is how you make a standalone CSS but more over how is it encorperated into the page

This site you have designed for you - you say it uses CSS. Open up the CSS file & review it. It would be the same as adding CSS to an individual page.
