I need help! I am trying to support myself and child with this ecommerce site www.justgotengaged.com I feel my products are great but I am only getting 18 hits a day! Not enough to do any kind of business. I am in most search engines just low on the totum pole. Any suggestions? I created this website with very limited experience using Frontpage 98. Hi, Judy -I'm sure others will have tips for you on the site itself, but have you thought of doing some short articles that would appeal to couples who "just got engaged"? You could do separate ones for the bride, groom, father/mother of the bride, father/mother of the groom, etc, etc.... tons of fodder out there if you have the imagination for it. They don't need to be really long, but include some quality information. That's the kind of stuff people will read and stick around for, then they might decide to buy something while they're at your site. Wishing the best of luck to you with this. Hi.Keep in mind that you have to market your site to build traffic. Search engines/directories are great, but often you have to have a fair amount of traffic to rank very high...which will then lead to more traffic. Try to think of creative ways to get your url in the public eye. I also agree with Linda, that you could add more to your site. Brides-to-be (especially) will be searching the Internet for information, tips, etc., for their weddings and honeymoons. Give them what they are looking for and you may snare customers that way, too. As far as the site, I would recommend correcting the grammar. You don't want to give the impression to potential customers that you are unprofessional in any way.
