How to hide the address or address bar - 10/10/2003 11:39:43
I am trying to create a webpage in frontpage which opens in a new window but does not display the its address in the address bar, or, completely removes the address bar when it opens that new window.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Hello and welcome to outfront.

Actually if you read the the posting called readmefirst at the top of the page you'll see that this is where people give tips and information not ask questions.

It was pure accident that I saw your question. YOu'll find you get a lot of information and help quickly if you post in whcihever forum is appropriate. Maybe after you've read this and got your script you mighlt like to wantder round read the descriptions of each forum and read some of the postings in them.

Here's the link to it http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/m_147106/tm.htm

To answer this question however:

You use a javascript. www.dynamicdrive.com has lots you can also go here http://www.jimcoaddins.com/addins.aspx and get the popup window creator.

Finally could some moderator please move this posting?
