Please tell me what sucks! - 5/29/2001 20:27:00
Hi,I plan to rework my site http://www.potts.co.nz and would appreciate a critique of the existing site before I plow ahead. I've used shared borders in this site, but I plan to drop them next round in favor of "includes". Does anyone have an opinion on that? I have downloaded a few templates from outfront.net, too, and plan to use one of them as a starting point, and hopefully avoid the Explorer vs. Netscape problems that have so plagued and frustrated me! So please check my site, and let me have it with both barrels (as required)! Best regards, Murray Potts murray@potts.co.nz www.potts.co.nz [This message has been edited by Murray (edited 05-29-2001).]

Hi Murray,Site looks fine and any changes would be personal preferences. Two things I'd do first would be to make the site stretch to 100%, and then set your margins to zero so your horizontal bars go right up to the sides of the screen. I wouldn't touch a lot more (maybe get rid of the underlines from the links and change their colour - but those are very persoanl preferences). Best of luck with it. Murray, the site looks really nice.I use includes a lot as they are more flexible than shared borders. Sandy ------------------ Stu Reilly Design Allegheny Web Dreamweaver Sites

Thanks so much for your input. Yes, I think I will make the new pages wider. I kind of adopted the narrow pages in the beginning so they could print out comfortably on an A4 page. I have no idea why I decided that was important! Best regards, Murray Potts http://www.potts.co.nz
