Hi everyone, just finished off the site,
shouldn't say finished as it keeps growing and changing everyday but would appreciate any comments on nav, download time and whatever else doesn't take your fancy.
Thank you, and remember...I'm just a beginner!

Well - mostly a thumbs up :-)

It's nicely done - and you've obviously put a lot time and thought into it. I had a look at two sections/portals in particular.

1] Was impressed by your art pages especially
:-)

2] Men only - private parts the (sepia) image partially repeats so you'll need to fix that.

Drop Down Navigation Scheme - now I'll come up with my hands up and straight out say I don't like 'em. (So take this with a grain of salt.) *But* most people find it a bit confusing and remember most surfers are impatient - so you're running the risk of people just giving up - that'd be a shame. At least put the following links at the top and bottom of each page:

1 Home to your start page
2 Back to the Home Page of each portal.

Keep going you're almost there!

A final point: Do you really *need* the pop up windows? There's a bit of a backlash against them at them moment - certainly my invariable reaction is to mutter evil words and close without looking, and sales of products that block the pop ups are rising very fast. If you do need them, well you need 'em and that's that, but I sincerely hope you quickly get past that need.

As I said earlier 'though *keep going - you're nearly there!*

Hope this helps :-)

Hi Shan,

Looking good - the text on the right (below paintball - for examnple) is too small for my eyes and I think you need to be consistent with your linking colour - some orange text aren't links and they seem like they should be and vice-versa with the white.

You image at the top mallwhite.gif is pointing to a file on your hard drive.

I'm getting horizontal scroll on a lot of pages eg babyboutique, childsecurity etc.

Your buy buttons - I'd include a price at least (possibly a bit more info as well) and probably open the page in a new window.

Best of luck with it

Cheers
Andy

Wow, thanks everyone,back to work...!
Sometimes you're so close to something you don't see everything.

Pop up, no really don't need it so will take it down and the drop down, what other sort of nav could anyone suggest?

Will put links back to home, thank you thank you
