I have an Access 2000 database that stores all kinds of things used on my department's website. Here recently, the <expletive>database</expletive> not only gives an "Unspecified Error" on my .asp's, but gives me all kinds of fits when I open it in Access. It starts out with "The Visual Basic for Applications in the database is corrupt." From there, if it will even let me SEE my forms, opening one brings error 2: "Your Microsoft Access database or project contains a missing or broken reference to the file "VCMAXB.OCX" version 1.0." Followed immediately by error 3: "Your Microsoft Access database or project contains a missing or broken reference to the file "VIDTC3.OCX" version 1.0." I'm at a complete loss. I'm pretty positive I didn't use any ActiveX controls within my database (since all it's doing is storing data), so I have no idea why it's asking for 2 controls. I think I'm going to make the jump to SQL Server.
