drop down menu and search engines - 10/28/2003 18:32:43
I have a long list of cities and state pages listed on an index page. I would prefer to use a drop down menu for selection purposes. Its important when the Search engine spiders index the site that they can read the hyperlinks in the drop down box the same as if they were normal text postitioned on the page. Can the SE's read the drop down hyperlinks to index the site properly??? Jeff

First off... Welcome to OutFront (Like the nick). Normally drop downs are just forms. If this is the case you should be good to go. Brian

I have a site linked up entirely of dhtml dropdown menu links. It does fine in the rankings for each page's particular keywords.
