RE: Block an I.P.Address? HOW - 11/11/2003 8:36:23
Yes, I did a lookup on the ip, it was unresolved as it had many packet losses in many hops But I figured out how to block it. I found a great program.

What is that program called? I have tried searching for such program, so you can add IP (s) that will be denyed access at all. My Norton warn me about a intrusion attempt every 10-12 mins. It's annoying. I know I can disable it, but I wanna know when and who try to get in. Or is there another program? I don't mind using money, if it's worth the money. Thanks in advance.

I use Sygate Personal Firewall Pro, this installs on all Windows O/S's including servers & this works great. I highly recommend this, if not then maybe use the choice of many hackers Black Ice Pro or even Zone Alarm Pro, these are all very good. As for Norton Firewall, I wouldn't go near that if you paid me...!
