I love the gray background and the way things were coming up... but by the time it was done loading it seemed like a bit too much. Especially because of my slow modem connection, but also because of all the different places to click.

I would drop the "click here to find" phrase from the mouseovers... they all would sound fine without this.

I'd suggest playing with a different version of this page ("save as" temp.htm so it's easy to dump if you don't like it ) that only includes the HUHS logo and the graphics to the right of it. Then get rid of the rest of the graphics and replace those with text or a much simpler graphic that's very quick to load and easy to find all the links.

The site is looking very good. The main body of text on weather might be better justified. The images are wonderful, but some of them might be compressed a bit more without loosing quality. Not too bad if you want to leave them... a bit slower on low speed connections, but at least they should look good even with AOL's extra image compression.

Alt tags for the images are recommended... right click on image > properties > alternate text.

I really liked the site - maybe a tad slow but worth the wait.

I prefer the layout you have on for example the About HUH page to the Administrative Team or School Board - I'd be inclined to stick to it throughout.

I'd also open outside links in a separate window - such as the map or weather.

With high res it may look like there's plenty of extra room, but keep in mind that in 800 there isn't.
