Advertising Website - 6/25/2001 20:09:00
I am doing some new advertising. So I have built a website for my deal. Check it out and let me know what you all think. I just put it on yesterday and am finishing getting some server issues completed. So you will see a few obvious mistakes. But for overall content and layout let me know what you all think of the site. Also, it links to my site and I am putting it on so it should be a great advertising opportunity.

Hi I looked at it using Opera - looks fine - eyecatching.

Speed: 45 seconds for the homepage to load (on a fast connection) if you can shave that down at all it would be highly desirable - remmeber most surfers are impatient

Navigation: a link to the home page would be more than helpful - most people don't like using the using the back button - personally I dislike using it quite intensely.

Sponsors and Sponsorhip both appear to go to the same page.

Font: consider using a sans serif font such as verdana, tahoma, ariel, ... Serif fonts such as Times New Roman are not as easy to read.

I noticed a certain amount of "raginess" in your text took a look at your source and sure enough you're using a lot of nbsp to get the text to line up - you might want to consider either using css or further tables to rectift that - using the spacebar is a big no no simply because you can't really predict the results not only between browsers but even between different versions of the same browser.

Eyecatching design - liked it.

Hope this helps :-)

Thanks for the reply. As for the home button, there is one and it will be fixed when I get home from work. As for the fonts thanks for the ideas I will look into that and make some changes. And for the tables, that is what they are set up in. I just need to realign the spacing though. Thanks again for your valuable input.
