Site Critique - 7/2/2001 23:13:00

Hello Everyone,

My fiance and I co-developed a new website and we'd like everyone to have a look at it and give some opinions. We decided to create a website that showcases my fiance's hometown. We just launched it a couple hours ago and there are a few minor details to be worked on still- namely, meta tags and a few spellchecks. We appreciate all the feedback! :-)

Hi Scott,

Great content for the site - smart layout and easy to get around (except the forum page as it has no navigation.)

My only critique would be the colour combination - it's a personal thing, and you're probably best going with what you and your fiance prefer, but the yellow/green combination doesn't work for me. The rest looks great.

Fabulous site - I don't like the "luminous watch green" it seems to jar to my eye. I'd go for a Golden yellow for that. Other than that - WOW

I was thinking about adding some sort of navigation to the forum, beyond what it already provides (we felt that it was an entirely different part of the site and we let the Snitz layout stay as is). The yellow green combination...I'll let my fiance consider that; I thought it was a good combo that matched the site's focus.
