Navigation Button - 11/8/2003 14:51:22
I'm using FrontPage 2000.

With navigation buttons along the top for some reason, one of the navigation buttons will not display properly when the mouse touches it. It just comes up with an x 75% POWER where the graphic should be when the mouse moves over the button. Go to another page and back again it's ok again until the mouse moves over it. All of the other buttons display as they should.

Things I've tried so far without success:

Recalculate Hyperlinks
Removing the page from the web, then adding it again
Republishing the entire site

It looks ok in my local FP editor, but this button is always disappearing as soon as the mouse moves over it when published to the web.

The site is http://members.rogers.com/zyconinc | Piper Arrow ll and the problem button is '75% POWER'

Would appreciate any help.

Not sure but I wonder if the % in the name of the graphic is causing your problem here either that or you are missing the mouse over graphic.

The code looks fine I don't see any obvious errors.

75%_power.htm_cmp_blank010_hbtn_a.gif

Graphics are stored in your _derived folder created by Front page.

I would first see if the graphic is there.

If so then I would change the name of the button graphics leave out the %. I noticed that the 65% power button is not using a % in the name of the .gif

Luck,

Patti

You zeroed on the problem. Changed the name as you suggested and it corrected the problem.

Thank you very much.
