ORIGINAL: gorilla Sounds like extensions are corrupted - ask you hosting company to reinstall them. Also get them to check the permissions for those directories. Thank you for your response. I have asked my hosting company to check that the extensions are OK. They said they would respond within 48 hours. Please explain what you mean by ......get them to check the permissions for those directories.... - I apologise for my lack of understanding

RE: Cannot create folder _vti_cnf (in reply to gorilla) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JB Thank you for your help. I did all that you suggested and nothing changed. Contacted my ISP again and finally they put me through to their higher level of support. Asked if there were any restrictions on permissions and if all extensions were in place, not corrupted and working properly. They insisted all was as it should be. I was able to get my problems sent in writing to their engineering department. Nobody admitted to anything but all is working well now after my discussions with the higher level of support.
