New Site - 7/17/2001 18:30:00
Well, here the latest...

http://www.afstocktaking.com/

This is a re-design of an old site - horrible, ugly, and had frames. ICK!

I think I'm happy with it, other than the fact that I'm now bored with arguing that the Services page is too damn long.

Anything else that needs kicking?

Thanks,
Bri

Popped in for a look and found a site that meets my simple criteria. Simple, easy-to-navigate, functional, clean.

In short, I like it.

Like Clum1, the phone numbers looked jumbled to me as well. Also using IE5.

Very nice job !!!

Have you thought about using internal page links on your services page?

(By the way, great site!)

Nice looking site! The Client quotes turned out nicely. Very good, very professional!

Very nicely done.

I'd like to see the quotes pause longer on the swish. For anyone that doesn't read quickly, it'll be a frustration to try reading it.

I fully agree on the services page! It's much too long. Have you suggested using a list of services with popups for the descriptions?

Linda

OK, I added a drop-down jump menu that lists all the services and hyperlinks to their bookmarks. That's the best compromise we can reach, and I can't kill him because I;m madly in love with him [ ]

Why is my best work always done for non-paying clients?!?!

I also re-ded the table on the Contact page to give every line it's own table row; even though they'll still break at lower res, they should be clearer now.

Thank you for all the feedback and the nice things you've said. [ ]

Hi Bri.

I love the layout and colors!

On the services page, upper left, aren't those supposed to be links? Only Overview is linked now.

I'm also thinking it would be nice to have some navigation at the bottom of the pages.

Great site!

Bri,

Very nice, professional site.

I only have one suggestion...I set my Windows background color to an off-white, so it's not so hard on my eyes. Because of this I noticed that the Home, Contact Us, and other pages don't have the page background color set to white. Since your graphics have a white background, it looks inconsistent. Some of your pages do have a white page background, and they look great.

Good Luck,

SuperConductor

SuperConductor, nice catch, I always for get that! Fixed now, thanks (I love include files, it's so easy! )

Sandy, you'd think they would be, but they're not... there's nothing to link them to! It was either a) put 26 services in there and link them all as bookamrks, or b) stick something else in there.

Strangely, I went with option b....

Thanks, all!
