Good morning everyone! We are currently in a beta testing stage of a custom developed e-commerce package. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks! Persona Online P.S. There are no graphics as of yet. This is the bare bones cart. We'll be adding the graphic interface over the next couple of weeks. Nice Model, err... The shopping cart that is I bought a Bra and a Pair of Shorts. Now, what do i do with the bra? Anyways, I went through a transaction, first with 1 item, then backed out and added another item. My shopping cart held the information nicely. Everything worked well, and check out was simple. I like it thus far, simple and easy.

Thank you rurbaniak! Much planning has gone into the structure to make it as simple as possible. We'll be launching about twenty similar layouts over the next 6 months. I'm hoping to hear from a few others here who might be able to test on Opera and NN. Thanks again!

Very nice site in all! Do make sure you add some text for "enter here" as there's a bit of waffling around before I clicked the woman to enter the shopping bit. Cart worked well in IE and NN 4. You should, though, download a copy of NN and of Opera for your own testing. Thank you DarlingBri! Actually, I do test across multiple browsers from my end. Usually IE 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, and NN 4.7, 6.0. I've used Opera a few times and I was impressed with the results. Now, to the store. There is a link at the top of each page... Activewear and Bodywear by Katie Healy - Shop Persona Online I'm going to assume that its not as visible as I think it is. Keep in mind that the graphic interface has yet to be incorporated. There will be a complete navigation structure from the home page that will lead you into each main section of the site. I'll revisit this topic as we progress. Our main goal right now is to test the cart features and make sure they work across multiple platforms on different systems using various preference settings. I agree with Bri. On the products page it's not clear what one is to do next. On the form, it might be a good idea to break the name down to separate first and last name fields. Hi Katie, I think the fact you were the model for your own stuff is great. The cart worked fine. I recommend getting code to erase the current cart content after the checkpout botton is pushed once. No matter how many times you tell people not to push twice they will do it anyhow. The email that showed up after I test ordered was in HTML format which is not necessary I would recommend text as this is the most compatible with all email programs. As I can see you are using technical fabrics, you mayu want to dedicate some space to providing the customer the information about these fabrics. As you can see I develop a similar site www.lydan.com I was impressed how fast the cart responded.

Thanks robble, I speak on behalf of Katie in this instance although that is not her modeling the line. I like your idea of clearing the cart once the final checkout button is pressed. We're still developing other sections of the site which will address the fabrics issue. There will be java popups with color swatches to view the fabric up close. I liked the lydan site. Very nicely done. Give us a couple more weeks with Persona and we'll be up to par! We are just now conceptualizing the look and feel of the site and have some slight rearranging of database info to do. Come back and see us in mid August when we officially launch. Okay everyone, we've now completed the graphic interface for... Persona Online I appreciated your comments during the initial cart development and look forward to hearing any additional feedback on the look and feel of the finished site. We are still working on formatting the way the cart populates but for the most part are finished. As always, thanks in advance for your comments! I recommend moving the buy now buttonup where people can see it and the product at the same time.
