Thanks for the helpful critiques I received here a month ago...I'm back with my newly changed site, but would love any comments, suggestions, etc. It's at www.wichitawomen.net

Hi Shaunna,

Site looks like it's going to be smart. I'm looking at resolution of 1024 and your tables are set for 100% and 769 pixels. It looks a bit awkward with the top menu going right across the page and the content to the left. This page for example works fine http://www.wichitawomen.net/issues.htm - looking through the site it may just be the home page.

I found the navigation a bit problematic when I got onto one ot two of the inside pages - text links at the bottom or top to the major sections would help a lot - some pages have them and others don't.

The email link at the bottom right in the red bar is difficult to see.

Site looks really smart overall and should be a winner.

Best of luck with it.

Cheers
Andy

Hi Shaunna.

Over all, I like the looks of the site.

However, it was awfully slow to load, and the second time, it wouldn't load at all for me. I think the problem lies in all the banners, stat server, etc.

The first thing that caught my eye was the hitcounter. I would definitely move that to the bottom of the page. You don't want it to distract from your content.

The monthly and depression (as well as other) pages won't come up unless I reload my browser. Again...I suspect the banners.

I ditto Andy's comments about the navigation. I was just now in a page a level or two down and had to back out, but the top level page will now not load and I have reloaded three times.

I also believe you should have the name of your website/organization at the top of each page. Some of your viewers will undoubtedly come in on a page other than the index page...and frankly, I forgot after the first page what the site was called. I did remember the Wichita part.

Best wishes,
Sandy
