I figure the more I ask, the more we all can learn from one another and, thusly, all make a crap-load of money! hehe

Anyway, do you have a maintanance plan to update your customer's sites and how do you charge? Monthly, weekly, hourly, flat fee? What's the normal charge for such a thing? We're all in this together! =]

Tony, like the avatar change :).

Anyway, I do monthly if it is just maintenance. I do however state a cap for hours that includes administrative work. That way if the client is prone to shooting off e-mails a lot or at odd hours I work with them and adjust the pricing. I explain that e-mails take time and research for to answer their questions. I also stipulate what maintenance is in my mind so we are on the same web page (couldn't resist).

I haven't had an issue though yet on that one.
