Well Hello Again The points I made in my posting about your site apply here as well. I liked this site a lot and for the fisrt time in a long time I actually liked a news thingy. So often they're tacky and irrelevant - yours was neither. A very minor quibble: I think you should emphasise in some way the address for the facility. I now know lots about the place including how to get to it - but I don't know the street number unless I go back to your start page. Perhaps you might experiment with putting that information on the side bar for every page along with the telephone numbers. Just a thought. Kind regrads, Mark

Thanks again, Mark for your input. It is helpful. Tell me, what are you doing up at 5:15 am critiquing sites?

Looks good. My only comments are about fonts used. I really despise Times on a website and especially when used at a small size. Looks very muddy and is hard to read. Also the mouseover effect of changing from normal to bold is a bit disconcerting, I've seen people say it makes them seasick when text wobbles like that! Otherwise the site looks good and informative and makes me miss my dogs!

Hi Janney,Forgive me Mark, for jumping in here, but it can be confusing to some of us.... Janney, Mark is in the UK, five hours ahead of where you are in Ohio. So if it's 5:15 in your city, it's 11:15 in Mark's. The reason I bring this up is that a lot of members are located in the UK or in Australia and New Zealand, and all other locations. Think about that one for a moment...are they hours behind, or ahead? You've got the international dateline to consider... In our daily routines, it's easy to forget we're part of a truly international community. Hope this helps a bit....it took a while for me to get accustomed to it, too... ------------------ Piper Bill "Uiste, agus cluich" said the P/M.

Hi.It looks like a nice site. I like the colors, but I'm thinking if you added a dash of red in your logo or somewhere near the top of your page it would really make it pop. In NN you've got & bull; (no space) between each of your links. That apparently is not a cross browser compatible command. In the cell containing text near the bottom of your index page I would suggest inserting another table or at least a couple of cells held open with clear gifs so the text doesn't hit the side of the table. Don't forget the alt attribute for your graphics. There is a side-to-side scroll at 800x600 resolution. The nav at the bottom of the pages needs to be more consistent. I suggest listing all your top level links. You could stand a few graphics to liven it up a little. Best wishes, Sandy ------------------ Stu Reilly Design Allegheny Web Dreamweaver Sites

Thanks for all the input. I changed the font to arial. And Sandy, your suggestion on the splash of red in the logo was a good one. Take a look. www.petmedclinic.com I also sized the tables so that the scroll bar disappeared. Thanks for your time! ------------------ Janney

The red does look nice. Good job.I'm still getting a side-to-side scroll and the & bull; things are still between the links. Sandy ------------------ Stu Reilly Design Allegheny Web Dreamweaver Sites

Sandy,The &bull is a result of using the new navigation bar feature in FP 2002. Why is it an issue? I don't see how I can change that if I am not seeing that in the FP editor, and why would I want to anyway? Also, with the resolution set at 800x600 I am not getting a scroll bar on the bottom.

For the new bullet-between-the-link feature to work, your server must have 2002 extensions installed. Otherwise, those of us using NN 4.7 see:& bull;home& bull;About Us& bull;Contact Us&bull etc. It's not real attractive. That's why I would change it. I'm getting a scroll of about an inch in both NN and IE. Sandy ------------------ Stu Reilly Design Allegheny Web Dreamweaver Sites

Hi again Looks a lot better. I'd be very inclined either to see to it that your hosting company installs the extensions for you or to use something else. Sandy's comment above is very important because if somebody using a browser other than the one you've tested the site with looks at it and sees something like that they will assume that you've made an error and are likely to go elsewhere. Hi Janney,Sensational site....very well done. I looked at it with IE5, monitor at 800 X 600, no side to side scrolling... Great job...cheers ------------------ Piper Bill "Uiste, agus cluich" said the P/M.

In NN 6.0 the navigation bar looks fine. Before I harrass my site host, are you sure it is an extension issue?------------------ Janney

No but it's the most likely culprit - Frontpage extensions are tricky yokes at the best of times. Maybe you should have a look at your server statistics before deciding what action or inaction is appropriate. kind regards, Mark
