Problem in uploading mp3 file - 12/6/2003 12:39:39
I can't upload my mp3 files. I tried upload it many times and the files are still not in my file manager (I'm using fortunecity as my host) I had link the files but I can't upload the files. The files cannot be found. So, what's wrong actually?

Fortune City is a free web-hoster, and they don't allow the upload of mp3s, try converting it to a wma first and then upload it, normally works

Download their power MP3 to WMA convertor. It's a trial version, which only allows the conversion on 1 file at a time, but it is very easy to use, and it works. I use it for the music on my sites

Select the ouput type
Select the ouput bitrate
Select the ouput directory
Convert
there's no bitrate as

It is there, send me a screenprint of your version of it, and I'll point it out to you, I downloaded it direct from http://www.cooolsoft.com it does have a bitrate there

Load the converter
Press the button on your keyboard that says Print Scrn
Load Paintbrush
Edit>paste
Save As>images.gif
Upload it to here and post

you can store up to 25MB of anything. I use it to store my mp3 and wmas, try that one

Geocities does take wmas and wav, www.freewebs.com will take mp3s but you have to remember, the free account is provisional for 7 days which only allows uploads of no more than 750k, after that week, you are free to upload you get 50Mb space, no ads, and instant account activation
