looking for a good text program - 12/7/2003 16:58:44
Hello. I'm looking for a good text program - something that I can make .jpeg formatted logos with.
Is there anything out there for free or at a low cost (less than $50 or so) that does a decent job? If not, what's your favorite? I don't do a lot of this - just looking for something that I can use instead of cranking up the font size and getting jagged looking fonts.

Microsoft's Picture It line of image editing/creation programs can be had for less than 50 bucks for the platinum edition. Besides text you can make business cards, calendars, all kinds of stuff.
