It's real important to have text on your opening page and a way to get into your site for people that don't have the Flash plug-in enabled (like Gil)

Just took a quick look and it seems in the small table at the right the bottom is a bit wiggy.

Nice template, though!

Yes, it is a swish movie....not sure why it did not run. It work on my browser.

"It did not run" because I don't allow any active X controls to run.

With the state of virus attacks today, you'll find more and more people blocking "non-content" related processes. Like Pat says, you really need to have a way to access the "real" site without the "fluff".

By "a bit wiggy" I mean the image boxbottom.gif is a little bit offset to the right. Makes it look jaggedy in IE. Looks ok in NN, though. (in reply to cree124)

Ok, now I get to the "real" site.

Nice layout, except: My Neighbor was looking over my shoulder and asked what I was clicking on to change pages - seems he is "semi" colorblind and could not see any links! You might want a little more contrast between background and link colors.

I know its a tamplate but I would never use those 2 colours together. IMO its bad business not to consider the low vision and colour blind people of the world. (in reply to cree124)

There is a chart here that shows web safe colours as seen by people with deuternopia, the most common form of red/green colour blindness.

Apparantly about 9% of the population have some form or degree of colour blindness.

Easy to navigate, and thanks for the "enter here" on the Flash intro. PLUS, I like the colors. It is up to you to determine the usability needs of your audience. I like the site and for me flash isn't a problem nor are the colors. You have to decide what's a deal-breaker for your audience. Bad color combo on anything that is to be read (cars, appliances, etc might be OK ) is not good. The idea behind your web site is communication, right? Just because it's a template doesn't mean it's flawless. Art is in the eye of the beholder but no contrast on readable material is not a good choice. You might try and reverse the colors, that would improve the contrast and keep the colors. Don't take me wrong, I like a lot of the templates and have bought some myself. I also have orange in some of my web sites . (in reply to cree124)

I am by no means an expert, but here's how I would go about changing the font color on the buttons:

It looks like the site is using a theme to control that, so open the web, click on "format" then "theme." Then click on "modify" and choose "colors." Click "custom" and then select "navigation text." Change it to whatever you want and then save it.

What Joy said was correct, assuming the template is governed by a theme, which I assume it is. Try changing the navigation text to black or some other color that will contrast well.

Be sure to save your changes to the theme and be sure you are not viewing a cached copy on your browser.

ALT text is required for any and all images.
