If the Findings and Comments fields are truly memo fields in the db, you are going to have to write some IF statements to handle those fields being blank as they will error out as well, at least in my experience they do.

thanks for all your advice and pointers man, much appreciated.
It worked finally, thanks to all the stuff you guys showed me. I've learned a great deal off the both of you over the last weeks. I can't begin to thank you enough.
I'm outta here for the holidays now, won't be back for a week or two.
