assigning a div layer to a css file. - 12/23/2003 19:26:27
Maybe I'm missing something, or I have gotten too used to DWMX 2004, but how do I assign a layer to a css class, like a css i-frame. .tdscroll to those who know.

Do I gotta do it in the code?

You should be able to right click on the tag in the DW status bar and scroll down to class or ID and pick the one you need from the list. The class or ID's that have been determined in your linked stylesheet should be right there for you.

Oops, I read your question completely wrong - silly me.

Maybe this should be moved to FP2003, since it is specific to that and as you know - I don't have it. *S*

If someone doesn't come along with an answer in a day or so, I'll go ahead and move it.

Want some snow for Christmas?

In DWMX2004 you need to insert a div first, then go Insert>layer This will insert a layer. Then on the controls to the right hand side of the screen you can edit them in the Layers tab. Took me a while to find it :) If this doesn't help Nancy is more than welcome to move it

Yeah, I know how to do it in DWMX, it's doing it in FrontPage 2003 that's killing me.

Yes, snow for X-MAS would be great. Miami and snow. Seems that's already the case.

ROTFL.

the stylesheet opens in FP and you can either edit it manually or you can assign rules through the floating menu. Create a text file and name it somestyle.css. From then on if you doubleclick it in FP your stylesheet will open in FP text.

Frontpage creates decent style code but I like to code
