Missing GIF's - 3/14/2001 20:35:00
I've started this basic page, and published it at http://www.hwy54.com.au/prayner/overland/index.htm

On my computer, the nav buttons, which are really simple gif's I created appear OK, but they don't appear when I view on a different machine.

I know i need alt tags....they'll come soon enough. Any ideas why the gif's are missing???

Cheers

They don;t appear because they are pointing to files on your computer, eg

file:///C:/My%20Documents/My%20Webs/Overlander/images/Costs.gif

You need to go in a remove: file:///C:/My%20Documents/My%20Webs/Overlander

Also think about changing your file names to lower case as using upper case names can cause problems.

Thanx for your help. I'm confused as to how I did this now. Checked all old files, and I've never managed this feat before.

Thanx again - least I know how to solve it in future

It all looked soooooo simple.

Yet when I remove the junk and have just /images/whatever.gif. the button is replaced by a placeholder only.

What am I doing that is soooo dopey today?
