sweepthelegnate -> "building the perfect page" and back links... (1/7/2004 16:07:22) I read in pageoneresults' post that it is a good idea to link to your own pages on your site, so that spiders can be sure to follow them. I have added back links to all of my pages, but I only linked to the directory ie www.fortworthcef.com/about/ my question: is this good enough for the indexing spiders to follow or should I make the links www.fortworthcef.com/about/index.shtml ?

BLADE -> RE: "building the perfect page" and back links... (1/9/2004 9:55:37) You should make a website map and put a link to it on each page. That way spider can easily crawl all of your pages.
