WHY DOES MY TEXT LOOK DIFFERENT - 1/13/2004 11:42:49
I just bought a new pc and the website I have developed now how a LARGER font size. I have tried resizing my screen resolution, but that doesn't help. This concerns me because other people must be viewing these websites and having the same issue. NOT to mention when I design a page in FP now it is TOTALLY different when it's displayed. IS there any way I can fix this by not allowing other browers to change the font size. CSS maybe.. don't know! PLEASE help!

Welcome to Outfront,

I'm not sure if you can actually stop users from changing the text size but to your problem on your new pc (assuming IE here) from the menu try going to "View" > "Text Size" and setting it for a smaller font.:)
For other browsers there are slightly different means of accomplishing the same thing. Mozilla Firebird for example, Ctrl ++ makes the text larger and Ctrl +- makes it smaller.
Don't forget about visitors that are visually challenged and need larger text.:)
